<blockquote><p>&#8220;News International has launched a paid membership scheme connected to its    Times newspaper titles, as the latest bid to combat the decline in industry    revenues by targeting new revenue streams.</p></blockquote>
<blockquote><p>The group, headed by Rupert Murdoch, yesterday launched Times+ which provides    members with access to special events, offers and meetings with the titles’    journalists for £50 a year. Subscribers to the newspapers will not be    charged.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>The newspaper business is still getting to grips with a landscape of online content that is free to access. The new club from the <a href="http://www.timesonline.co.uk" target="_blank">Times</a> allows the paper to leverage its existing assets.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The <a href="http://bit.ly/DofPW" target="_blank">London Times</a> reported yesterday in a story about fashion in the online world, that Sir Philip Green appears to have changed his tune about the internet</p>
<p>Fashion bloggers were invited to preview and photo-shoot of Arcadia&#8217;s  autumn and winter lines two weeks ago.</p>
<p>According to the Times, &#8220;about 15 per cent of fashion sales are online, a figure that is rising quickly&#8221;.</p>
<p>Leon Bailey-Green, the founder of The Online Fashion Agency is quoted by the Times as saying:</p>
<p>&#8220;Retailers who fail to take fashion bloggers seriously now will find it difficult to get their attention when they become mainstream”, Mr Bailey-Green said. “It will affect sales.”</p>
